Here at JDG Wellness everyone is welcome,. While we are faithbased we do not impose our faith views on our clients. If the client prefers an all evidence based approach we can and do provide that. We see both adults and adolescents. Our primary specialilties are addiction and recovery issues, and trauma, we also treat other mental illness like depression, anxiety and ptsd. We provide outside referrals and resources should it be something outside of our competence level.
We believe that Christ is the ultimate counselor. He provides us the power and authority to work with our clients. We consider this not not just our profession but a calling to be ambassadors of Gods grace, mercy, and healing to our clients.
We primary use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialetic Behavioral Therapy, as well as Cognitive processing therapy and motivational interviewing. most of these are intergrated with person centered therapy as well. This list is by no means exhaustive as we offer many different assessments, and integrate other modalities and therapies as needed.
